Non-Refundable Payments

All payments and deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable once submitted.

No Refunds for Absences

Students who cannot attend for any reason are not entitled to a refund of any fees paid.

Confirmed 21 Days Out

Events are confirmed 21 days before the scheduled date. If we cancel, you receive a full refund.

1. Payments & Deposits Are Non-Refundable

All payments and deposits made to Reach Out to Horses® — including registration fees, clinic fees, workshop fees, and any other amounts paid in connection with a program — are non-refundable and non-transferable.

This policy is consistent with the standard practice of equine clinics and educational events, where instructors, horses, and facilities are arranged well in advance and your spot cannot be easily filled once registration closes. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

Please note: Fees cannot be transferred to another participant, applied toward a future event, or held as a credit under any circumstances — except in the case of a cancellation initiated by Reach Out to Horses® (see Section 3 below).

2. Student Absences & No-Shows

If a registered student is unable to attend a clinic, workshop, or any scheduled session for any reason — including illness, injury, personal emergency, scheduling conflict, travel disruption, or any other circumstance — the student will not be entitled to any refund of fees paid.

Every registered spot requires substantial advance preparation: horses are selected and scheduled, instructors dedicate their time, and facility resources are allocated based on confirmed attendance. These commitments are made on your behalf the moment your registration is accepted.

We recommend reviewing your schedule carefully and confirming your availability before registering. If you have questions about an upcoming event, we encourage you to reach out to us before completing your registration.

3. Event Confirmation & Cancellation by Reach Out to Horses®

All clinics and workshops will be confirmed 21 days prior to the scheduled event date. Registered participants will be notified of confirmation through the contact information provided at registration.

Reach Out to Horses® reserves the right to cancel any clinic or workshop for any reason, at any time. Reasons may include, but are not limited to, insufficient enrollment, instructor or facility availability, weather or safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control.

In the event of a cancellation initiated by Reach Out to Horses®, all clinic or workshop fees will be returned in full to the registered student. Refunds will be processed promptly following cancellation notice.

Travel & Lodging: Reach Out to Horses® is not responsible for, nor will it reimburse, any travel expenses, lodging costs, transportation fees, or any other payments made to third parties in connection with attendance at a clinic or workshop — regardless of whether the cancellation is initiated by the student or by Reach Out to Horses®.

We strongly encourage all participants to consider travel insurance and refundable booking options when arranging transportation and accommodations for out-of-town events.

4. Why This Policy Exists

A strict no-refund policy is the norm across the equine clinic and workshop industry. Clinicians invest significant time preparing programs, traveling, and committing to dates. Host facilities and horses are scheduled exclusively for registered participants. Event sponsors and organizers often forego other income-generating activities to host a clinic.

With limited spots in each program, a single cancellation can affect the experience of every other participant and the financial viability of the event. This policy protects the integrity of our programs and ensures we can continue offering high-quality equine education.
