As the first female clinician to bring natural horsemanship to China and Mongolia, and the first Head Instructor for Monty Roberts, Anna has broken barriers throughout her 30-year career. Anna Twinney left British law enforcement to follow a calling — and what followed changed the landscape of horsemanship worldwide. As founder of Reach Out to Horses® and The Way of the Equine Warrior®, Anna has spent three decades pioneering the integration of animal communication, energy healing, and natural horsemanship into a unified methodology she calls the Tri-Factor of Truth.

Recognized by both British Royalty and the U.S. Government for her revolutionary approach, Anna has conducted over 1,000 clinics across nearly 30 U.S. states and 44 countries, gently transforming the lives of more than 1,600 wild horses and hundreds of thousands of people. She made history as the first female clinician to bring natural horsemanship to China and Mongolia, and served as the inaugural Head Instructor for legendary trainer Monty Roberts.

In 2005, Anna broke new ground by introducing energy healing to horses through her Spirit Lead program. Her work now extends to corporate leadership development and specialized equine-assisted programs for veterans and first responders — a concept she envisioned at the start of her career.

Anna is also an author, international speaker, and co-host of one of America's first equestrian podcasts, Reaching Out with Anna Twinney. She is based at Whispering Feather Farm in North Carolina.

Anna Twinney's mission has extended far beyond the arena. As a tireless advocate for equine welfare, she has supported, partnered with, fundraised for, and brought her gentling and advocacy work to more than 100 sanctuaries, rescues, and nonprofit organizations across the United States and internationally. Her collaborations span wild horse sanctuaries, therapeutic riding programs, rescue and rehabilitation centers, and international equine welfare initiatives — from the high desert of California to the coastlines of Trinidad and Tobago, from Morocco to Denmark and Mexico.

Among her most longstanding partnerships are Return to Freedom Wild Horse Sanctuary (CA), Equine Voices Rescue & Sanctuary, where she proudly served as an Advisory Board Member (AZ), Equine Advocates Rescue & Sanctuary (NY), Safe Acres Sanctuary (OR), the Nokota Horse Conservancy (ND), and Monty Roberts Join-Up International, which she supported for many years as a cornerstone of her early career.

This depth of commitment reflects Anna's belief that horsemanship is a responsibility — one that extends to every horse, in every corner of the world, in need of a voice.
